About
Over the years, my work has focused on advancing Arctic environmental initiatives, particularly through roles in various collaborative international projects. I’ve had the privilege of leading and supporting efforts that emphasize sustainable marine practices and environmental awareness, tackling the unique challenges facing the circumpolar world. My experience spans project management, advisory roles, and hands-on research in environmental physics.
Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with scientists and policymakers to foster knowledge exchange and drive meaningful action, always aiming to contribute to a resilient Arctic through science and strategic partnerships.
I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Environmental Science, which grounds my expertise in environmental principles that I’ve carried into every aspect of my work. My journey into marine science began at Maritime School, where I majored in the navigation of deep-sea vessels. This early education gave me a strong foundation in maritime studies, instilling a respect for the vastness and complexity of our oceans, a foundation that continues to guide my approach to Arctic environmental science and my understanding of marine ecosystems.
