PhD Student in physical oceanography at the University of Galway. My main area of interest is air-sea interaction. Field campaigns deploying of an autonomous profiler in the Greenland and Labrador Seas are the primary data source of my doctoral research. Specific emphasis is given on upper ocean vertical structure at polar fronts, and the dynamics of algal blooms as controls on the biological carbon pump.
