Mark Jessopp is Associate Professor and Head of Zoology and Ecology at University College Cork. Research focusses on the ecology of higher predators in the marine environment and interactions with human activities. Mark co-runs Seabirdwatch (www.seabirdwatch.org), a large citizen science programme monitoring arctic seabirds using time-lapse imagery to investigate effects of a changing climate on the timing of breeding and breeding success.
