Over the last two decades I have worked on coordinating Arctic initiatives within the Arctic Council, working with

a diverse range of stakeholders throughout the Arctic to facilitate more rapid detection, communication and responses to biodiversity-related trends and pressures affecting the circumpolar world. I have recently started a new role as Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Akureyri in Iceland.
